OGX invests in the preservation of some of the principal Brazilian ecosystems, providing equipment, infrastructure and support services. Take a look at some of the projects that OGX is part of:

 

Pantanal Matogrossense National Park 


Covering 135 thousand hectares and created in 1981, the Park is considered one of the largest floodplains on Earth, sheltering a wide variety of animal species, some endangered. OGX's total investment is R$ 2.5 million for environmental conservation and the implementation of the management plan for the conservation unit for a 5 year period. Investments are planned for infrastructure, equipment, vehicles, in addition to activities related to the management plan.

 

Fernando de Noronha National Marine Park

Covering 11,270 hectares, and located about 545 kilometers from the coast of Recife, Pernambuco, the Park protects important examples of marine ecosystems. The first tranche of investments is being used for the setting up of the National Marine Park, with an emphasis on general reform of administrative headquarters. Support for deployment and maintenance will last for 10 years with a total investment of R$ 4.7 million.
