He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense and Petroleum Engineering from Petrobras, he is Chief Executive Officer of OGX (since 2012). Mr. Luiz Carneiro has more than 30 years of solid experience in the oil industry having held several high-level positions in Petrobras, leading various areas including Exploration and Production (E&P), Engineering, Production in the Campos Basin and other basins in Brazil. Mr. Carneiro has been CEO of OSX since 2009 and holds an MBA degree from Columbia University in New York.
Paulo de TarsoExploration OfficerHe holds a degree in Geology from UFPR and is a doctor in Geology graduated from the University of Texas, in Austin. Mr. Paulo de Tarso has more than 30 years of experience in the oil industry, began working at OGX in 2010 as New Areas Executive Manager, and since April 2012 has been Executive Exploration Manager, responsible for the Campos and Espírito Santo basins. He has occupied several managerial positions in Petrobras for more than 20 years, as Exploration General Manager responsible for Esprírito Santo and Mucuri basins and Exploration Executive Manager of all Brazilian basins. He also worked as an exploration counselor in Argentina, Angola, Peru, Colombia, Cuba, USA (GoM) and Libia.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Espirito Santo, and worked for Petrobras for more than 30 years, where he held several positions, including Superintendent of Logistic Support and Production Manager in the Campos Basin, CEO of Petrobras America Inc. in the United States, general manager for Petrobras E&P and director of the Petrobras Distribuidora service station network.

José Roberto Faveret
He is a State Attorney for Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Faveret received a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), and was a partner at Villemor, Trigueiro, Sauer e Faveret Advogados, which he joined 21 years ago. He worked as external legal advisor for Petrobras in the regulatory area, structuring several projects related to production, exploration and transport, as well as mergers and acquisitions in the energy area. He also worked on the structuring of industrial projects, such as the gas-chemical complex in Rio de Janeiro (Rio Polimeros S.A.) and thermal power plants.
