Film "5 x Favela - Agora Por Nós Mesmos"- this is an initiative from Luz Mágica Productions, run by Cacá Diegues; the film was written, directed and performed by young filmmakers who come from the slums of Rio de Janeiro. Approximately 230 young people participated in workshops involving screenplay, direction, production, photography, art, editing, finalization and acting, and 84 of them were chosen to be part of the technical team for the film. The film was premiered on the national circuit in August 2010 and premiered at major film festivals such as Biarritz (France) and Paulinia (Brazil), besides being shown in a special session at the Cannes Film Festival. OGX is the main sponsor of the project, with part of the investment made through the law covering Audiovisual sponsorships.

Book - "Brazil and the Sea in the 21st Century - A Report for the Country’s Decision-Makers”. Another cultural project. OGX supports the research project for the second edition of this publication, developed by the Brazilian Center for Excellence at Sea (Cembra). The aim of the book is to undertake a broad public opinion survey throughout Brazil on the sectors that involve the sea, addressing the legal aspects, security, economic activities, ecosystems, pollution, among others.
